Typography

Body copy and headings are set in Newsreader, a serif built for long-form reading. Display font is set in Vault Alarm from SimpleBits. Tags, dates and other small print use system level grotesque stack.

Built with

The site runs on Astro, with React mixed in. Content is authored in Sveltia CMS. Design tokens come from Open Props.

Hosted

Hosted on Netlify. Images are optimized at build time by Astro.

Analytics

Visits are counted by GoatCounter and by Netlify Analytics. Neither sets a cookie or follows anyone off the site.

AI Use

The code is written alongside Claude Code. None of the writing is authored by a LLM.
