I feel like editing and music are doing a lot of heavy lifting here, but that blank smiling stare is wild. From a technical perspective, the shot-reverse-shot and cut to the wide has me curious how this conversation was shot if its not scripted (I’m not saying it was, though). It does not compute in my brain.
