I was involved in the build of the Custom Pizza tool, where our team produced photo-realistic pizza topping’s that would be layered to produce accurate representations of the delivered product. The tool itself had strict requirements for distinct combinations of toppings. Different images of the same topping we’re required depending on the configuration. Pizza with half-and-half toppings and extra-cheese provided added complications. The toppings would animate as if falling onto the top of the pizza as uncooked toppings and then swap in the cooked alternative. The effect is seamless and best in class.
